He found those with nothing, and raised them, raised them to immortal, untameable beings of darkness, and he loved every moment. He watched in splendour as he took the price for a young man, and he immediately fell to the floor.  Xemnas enjoyed being what he was, a reaper of souls, a demon of hell. Xemnas walked into the infirmary, like he had for the past seven days. Saix was still unconscious, though Vexen was only having to change the bandages once a day now. The damage was still serious, but there were no doubts about his survival now.

Saix shivered as he looked out the window at the ever-falling snow. It had been frigid and snowing for two weeks straight. As used to the winter weather as he was, that didn't mean he particularly liked it.

"It's January, right?" Saix asked as he turned away from the window and looked at the Superior.

"Yes." Xemnas replied simply, looking up from his work.

"And we have at least three more months of winter."

"At least."

Saix frowned, obviously unhappy with this news. Xemnas laughed slightly and stood up from his desk.
